All of the Best Labor Day Deals: From Amazon to Wild One

Labor Day weekend is here, and so are the Labor Day sales. You can, of course, find soon-to-be-off-season items, like swimsuits and miniskirts — though, to be honest, you can definitely still squeeze a month of use out of those — but it’s also a great time to stock up on staples that might be looking a little worse for wear, including bedding and skincare.

By now, most retailers have announced the discounts that will last through the long weekend. You also shouldn’t sleep on the mattress deals, some of which are as good as they’ll get all year — and I’ve dedicated an entire post to all those sales here.

But here, we’ve got a real grab-bag of the best deals that I could find. So to make it a little easier, I’ve organized the deals alphabetically by merchant. I’m logging off for an extra-long weekend, so things may sell out — but all the deals should still be good through Monday. If you want to stay in the loop for all my Labor Day sales coverage (including subscriber-only deals), be sure to sign up for our email newsletter.

Amazon is discounting home and kitchen essentials for the holiday weekend, from coffee-makers to water flossers to memory-foam pillows.

Ban.do is offering 30 percent everything with the code GIMME30. This includes already-on-sale picks, making them doubly discounted.

You read that right: Bed Bath & Beyond is back (after an acquisition by Overstock), and it’s already jumping into sales. For Labor Day, you can shop “millions” of home items, according to the site — though I think the best deals are on rugs, home linens, and bedroom furniture.

All of BioLite’s high-tech camping gear — including camp stoves, headlamps, and solar lanterns — is 25 percent off, no code needed.

Everything at Brooklinen is 20 percent off through Wednesday night. That’s a pretty typical discount, but it’s a good time to restock on some of our favorite bedding, bath linens, and loungewear.

The bedding start-up responsible for one of our favorite comforters is offering 20 percent off sitewide through September 10. Most products have a seven-day free-trial period, so you can make sure you love your new pillows, sheets, and blankets before you fully commit.

Over 900 purses, wallets, and wristlets are an extra 20 percent off at checkout, including some things that are very Y2K.

Coyuchi’s stylish, sustainable, and Strategist-tested bedding and bath basics are 20 percent off through September 5. Plus, already-on-sale products are an additional 20 percent off with the code EXTRA20.

Here’s an exclusive deal just for Strategist readers: Use the code STRATEGIST to take 30 percent off sitewide at Cozy Earth through the end of September.

Dermstore just had its anniversary sale, so I wasn’t expecting much for Labor Day. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s offering 20 percent off all EltaMD and PC Skin products with the code SKIN20 this weekend. We are obsessed with EltaMD’s sunscreen — and don’t forget about our best extra-strength vitamin-C serum, which will fade hyperpigmentation from acne or sneaky sunburns.

If you’re in the market for some wardrobe staples, check out Everlane’s Labor Day sale, where you’ll find $68 denim (that’s still in-stock in all sizes) and $20 tees (like our best white V-neck option for women).

Everything is 20 percent off with the code LD20 through Monday night, including the stylish dog leash that was a best seller with Strategist readers during Prime Day this year.

All of Girlfriend Collective’s fashion-forward athleticwear is 20 percent off, no code needed. Orders over $125 get a free backpack.

Great Jones’s vibrant cookware basics are as beautiful as they are well-made, like its baker-approved sheet pans and iconic Dutch oven (that may just be as classic as Le Creuset to Millennials). Until September 4, it’s offering 25 percent off its entire line of cookware and bakeware with the code LDW25.

You can usually count on J.Crew to have a good sale-on-sale happening for holiday weekends, and Labor Day is no different. Clearance items are an extra 60 percent off, and full-price items are 40 percent off, with the code SHOPNOW.

It’s being called the End of Summer Sale, but make no mistake that this is basically L.L.Bean’s Labor Day sale. Apparel, slippers, and bags are up to 50 percent off in select colors — though you may have to do some digging to find your size.

Women’s pre-fall styles are 30 percent off, and already-on-sale items in both the men’s and women’s sections are an additional 30 percent off with the code COOLDOWN. All other products are 20 percent off with our exclusive code STRATEGIST20.

Labor Day is one of the best holiday weekends to get a good deal on mattresses. There are so many, in fact, that I’ve dedicated a whole article to outlining all the brands offering discounts (and you can find some of the highlights below).

Select outerwear and camping gear are 30 percent off this weekend, and I’d recommend springing for a tent, as clothing sizes seem to be limited. However, I also spotted some more winter gear in the regular sale section for up to 50 percent off, like beanies, gloves, and parkas.

Blend smoothies, sauces, and soups at the press of a button with Nutribullet’s blenders, all of which are 20 percent off with the code LABORDAY20. Our managing editor, Kelsie Schrader, likes the Pro 900, which she says makes perfectly silky smoothies in less than a minute.

Best-selling kitchenware brand Our Place is hosting a sitewide Goodbye Summer Sale August 22 to September 7, with up to 40 percent off our favorite items — including the recently revamped Always Pan and some surprisingly chic glass containers that are perfect for bringing your lunch to work.

Outdoor Voices usually has a handful of past-season patterns in its clearance section, OV Extra, but earlier this week the workout-gear brand added hundreds of sports bras, leggings, loungewear, and more for up to 50 percent off.

A small but mighty selection of luggage is up to 35 percent off at Paravel through September 6 (like the fold-up fanny pack one Strategist contributor uses as a diaper bag).

REI

Tons of outdoor gear is up to 40 percent off for the long weekend, from camping supplies to workout apparel. Plus, REI members get an extra 20 percent off already-discounted products (and 20 percent off some full-price items, too) with the code LABORDAY23.

New customers get 40 percent off Ritual’s entire collection of multivitamins, supplements, and vegan protein powder through September 5.

Use the code LABOR to take up to 25 percent off thousands of Strategist-approved skin-care, hair-care, and beauty products at SkinStore through September 4 — including the cult-y Embroylisse Lait-Crème Concentré, so you too can pretend you went to France this summer.

Solawave’s hugely popular LED skin-care wands can help address stubborn dark spots and calm inflammation. Everything is 30 percent off with the code POOLSIDE.

Target’s calling it a Summer Send-off Sale, but this is, in fact, the retailer’s Labor Day sale. You’ll find the best deals on kitchen gear, tech for back-to-school season, and some outdoor furnishings.

If you’re on the hunt for a coffee-table book (or two, or three), Taschen is offering up to 75 percent off a robust selection of books on photography, design, architecture, travel, and more through Sunday night.

Tushy makes several of our favorite bidets, all of which are 40 percent off with the code LABORSPRAY through September 11.

If you don’t mind doing some sifting, you can get some really good deals at Urban Outffiters, because everything from its clearance section is an extra 40 percent off at checkout.

Head over to Wild One’s end-of-summer warehouse sale to find colorful dog toys and accessories up to 35 percent off.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
