12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Boll & Branch to Levi’s

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a good sale happening at Levi’s, but it’s happening now: Everything is up to 70 percent off, including some of our favorite styles. I’ve also continued digging for early October Prime Day deals, and some nice stuff is cropping up, such as Skin Food and a wet-dry vacuum from Bissell. And don’t forget about Target’s Circle Week sale, which runs through Saturday night: I pulled a few limited-edition items below that are sure to sell out.

Let’s begin with the most exciting sale at Levi’s. Now is a great time to stock up on 501s in any of their 23 washes. At $48 each, it’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen them.

Already-on-sale denim is an extra 50 percent off at checkout, making our best overall women’s jeans just $29 (though sizes are a bit limited).

Early October Prime Day deals have started to roll in, and the best discounts are on apparel from Amazon’s in-house brands, like the Drop. This cotton crewneck is very similar to one that Strategist senior editor Ailbhe Malone purchased three years ago, which she says has remained a true black through countless washes.

Weleda Skin Food Original
$15
$15

Strategist staffers (myself included), makeup artists, and author Stephanie Danler swear by Weleda’s balmlike Skin Food. It’s one of our top moisturizers for dry skin, and it makes a great primer for makeup, too.

The Sak De Young Crossbody
From $59
From $59

The Sak’s slouchy leather tote bag is on sale in several styles at Amazon, but you’ll get the best deal on this one that features an embossed floral design on the side panels.

Lots of books are on sale at Amazon right now too. I’m eyeing this massive encyclopedia by the Smithsonian as a gift for my two elementary-school-age brothers.

A well-reviewed steam mop that works effectively on carpeted and tiled flooring to suck up spills, dirt, and pet dander.

There’s still plenty of time to shop the Target Circle Week deals before it all ends on October 7. But don’t dillydally because I spotted some limited-edition stuff that’s sure to sell out, like this Squishmallows pail for trick-or-treating …

… And this zig-zag candle from Target’s collaboration with Rowing Blazers, which we were surprised to see on sale at all.

Weezie Signature Bath Towel
From $48
From $48

Everything at Weezie is 25 percent off until midnight tonight, including the brand’s interior-designer-approved long-staple-cotton bath towels. They can be monogrammed for an additional $11.

I used these superabsorbent makeup towels while staying at a friend’s house and was impressed by how gentle they were on my skin (and how effectively they removed my liquid eyeliner).

Boll & Branch is offering 20 percent off orders over $300 with the code FALL23. Bundle our favorite down pillow, pajamas, and celebrity-approved sheets to hit the order minimum, or go all-in on this poofy down-alternative duvet insert.
