12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Areaware to J.Crew

I’ve gone a bit kitchen crazy for today’s sales roundup, so scroll on to find stackable drinking glasses, silicone cooking utensils beloved by our kitchen and dining writer, and baby bottles from our ultimate baby registry. You can also find a few more Labor Day sales stragglers, like an all-foam mattress from Tuft & Needle and J.Crew boxers (for just $5).

For pet-hair pickup that’s not quite handheld-vacuum-worthy, ChomChom’s popular lint roller traps fuzz with a nylon brush instead of single-use sheets.

These non-leaky glass bottles can be found on the Strategist’s Ultimate Baby Registry, which our writer Lauren Ro originally recommended in her registry redo piece. She called out the easy-to-read ounce markings on the body and that the nipples come in five different flow levels that correspond to your baby’s age.

Labor Day sales are still live at a handful of mattress brands. Tuft & Needle’s crowd-pleasing foam mattress — which was also recommended by Ro, a side sleeper who says it makes her feel “supported and cocooned” — is 20 percent off through Sunday night at both Amazon and the brand’s website.

Already-on-sale styles at J.Crew are an extra 50 percent off with the code SALETIME, making our best inexpensive boxers just $5.

For those unafraid to wear white after Labor Day, this shirtdress with a charming collar is great for transitional weather — and would also make a nice Halloween costume base.

I spotted Dusen Dusen–designed salt and pepper shakers for nearly 60 percent off at Shopbop (though you should know that they are final sale).

Our Place’s Good-bye Summer sale ends tomorrow night, and everything is up to 40 percent off. The highly coveted (and recently revamped) Always Pan is 25 percent off, though you can find a few colors — like this cool blue — on sale for the same price at Nordstrom, too.

This isn’t the biggest discount, but our best short (and stackable) drinking glasses are on sale and come in ten color combinations.

GIR’s silicone cooking utensils are dishwasher-safe, sturdy, and soft enough that they won’t scratch any pans. This birthday-cake-inspired set is $45 at Nordstrom, but if you don’t mind shelling out an extra $6, you can find every color combo on sale at GIR’s site.

These flat-front trousers are polished enough to wear to the office but stretchy enough to not feel too much like “work pants.”

For high-waist diehards like myself, here’s a very similar option.

Becca’s cult-y highlighter is half-off until midnight at Ulta, Target, and Sephora. (Though you’ll need to buy from Ulta if you want to shop all five shades.) Despite being a powder, it creates a non-cakey, dewy glow.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
