21 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Ole Henriksen to Outdoor Voices

So much skin care is on sale today. Ulta’s massive Fall Haul sale began this morning, but I also spotted vitamin-C serum and SPF-enhanced moisturizer at Amazon, as well as the face mask that Saweetie described as a “magic potion” for half-off at Sephora. There’s plenty of apparel, too, including Ugg slippers, a sitewide sale at Outdoor Voices, and Universal Standard’s coveted mystery boxes (with an extra discount just for Strategist readers, too). For even more Strategist-reader-only discounts, make sure to sign up for our email newsletter.

$26

If you buy just one thing from today’s sales roundup, make it this face mask recommended by Saweetie. It’s formulated with PHAs, bentonite clay, and Nordic birch sap to fight acne and hydrate skin, and she told us it “extracts all the dirt and expedites my pimple process and makes them ready to pop.” Best of all, it’s half-off.

If you’re a seasoned pro when it comes to vitamin-C serums and want to bump up to something a bit stronger, we love this option from Vichy. It contains 15 percent vitamin C, as well as hyaluronic acid to help moisturize skin (and it’s already far less expensive than a lot of the other options out there, making this an even better deal).

Aveeno’s SPF-enhanced moisturizer is one of our best sunscreens for dark skin. It contains soy complex, which can treat hyperpigmentation and reduce the appearance of dark spots.

Our pick for the best non-looping noise machine has garnered thousands of five-star ratings on Amazon. It’s 50 percent off in black, though if you feel strongly about getting it in white, it’s only $35.

It’s not the biggest discount, but I did spot a few slipper options from Ugg’s sister label, Koolaburra, on sale at Amazon. This plush-lined pair for kids comes in black, brown, and gray.

From $55

And here’s a pair of moccasin-inspired slippers in women’s sizing.

These golf-green-ready Puma sneakers are up to 54 percent off, depending on which size you get. (The cheapest I saw was $60, but most are $92, which is still a good deal.) And if you have Amazon Prime, you can try them our for free for seven days before you commit.

$31

Several lanterns from Coleman are on sale at Amazon. This one is powered by four D-cell batteries, comes with a lifetime LED bulb that will never need to be replaced, and can run for up to 60 hours while on the low-light setting.

To fully kit out your campsite, pick up this multiuse tool from Swiss Army, which is 26 percent off. (Note that you’ll have to add the item to your cart to view the discounted price.)

$64

Universal Standard’s mystery boxes are back — and apparently, this is their final hurrah. To make the deal even sweeter, all the already-discounted mystery boxes are an extra 15 percent off when you use our code MBSTRATEGIST15.

Everything at Outdoor Voices is 30 percent off this weekend, no code needed. The comfortable but never sloppy joggers found in the Strategist 100 come in three colorways …

These lined gym shorts provides support without being restrictive, according to our go-to fitness-gear writer Jeremy Rellosa.

Ulta’s Fall Haul sale landed today, and dozens of Strategist-approved products are up to 40 percent off. Here’s an affordable set of makeup brushes that actually work: I’m a particular fan of the setting brush, which I’ve used for years after seeing makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes use it to flawlessly blend concealer.

For a natural light-coverage look, Rio recommends this Glossier Skin Tint–like foundation. It contains ingredients like glycerin, aloe extract, and coconut milk to help keep skin “dewy and hydrated.”

For melting away heavy-duty makeup, pick up a pot of Banila’s iconic cleansing balm. It’s one of our favorite K-beauty products, since it vacuums out dirt and oil.

If you’re into subtle perfume, Nemat’s roll-on fragrance oil “locks with your chemistry and blooms in an indescribably pleasurable, luminous, and clean way,” according to contributor Natalie Toren.

SuChin Pak describes this toning lotion “super-light, milky, not greasy, and will drench your skin in a dewy glow.”

Photographer Alice Gao told us this office-appropriate backpack is large enough to fit a laptop and all her photo gear. And for business trips, it easily attaches to your carry-on thanks to the back sleeve that slides onto the handle.
